We look forward to safely welcoming students and families back to school!
School will look a bit different this year. On this page, you will find information about our schedule, enhanced health and safety protocols, and more.
It takes a community to help make schools safe and stop the spread of COVID-19. Follow public health guidelines and complete a COVID-19 self-assessment every day before coming to school. For information about the OCDSB Return to School Plan, visit ocdsb.ca/backtoschool2020.

Health, Safety and Well-Being
There will be increased health and safety measures in every school including hand hygiene, physical distancing, personal protective equipment and more. For more information, visit the Health, Safety and Well-Being page on the OCDSB’s Return to School Plan website.
Before coming to school, students must complete a COVID-19 self-assessment. Students should only come to school if they answer no to all of the questions and have none of the symptoms present on the checklist.
Guidance
In order to best support our students in a timely manner, Guidance Drop-Ins are now available on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-9:20 am.
Students can drop in to say a quick hello or to book an appointment for a later time.

OCDSB Human Rights Policy Consultation
In March 2020 the OCDSB established the Office of the Human Rights and Equity Advisor to oversee the investigation and resolution of human rights complaints and to identify and remove barriers that result in systemic discrimination. In December 2020 the Board of Trustees approved a consultation plan for the development of a human rights policy for the OCDSB. The human rights policy will set out rights and responsibilities for students, staff, families and community members and create a human rights complaints mechanism. The consultation is underway! Over the next 4 weeks there will be several opportunities for staff, students and families to participate in the process.
